CHA - CHING !!!

Well good evening all you ghouls in spookytown USA. Dean Jarnig and Greg Little here from Eerie Industries and the Dark Night Players. We've finalized our funding and are really looking forward to throwing our heads onto the chomping block in Texas in 2008!

We will open our newest dark attraction THIS OCTOBER in Arlington Texas off of US Highway 287 between Dallas and Fort Worth. ZOMBIE MANOR, will bring new sights and frights to the Halloween season in 2008! With highly detailed sets, special effects and interactive performing we are really excited to join in on the screams this year. There are numerous high quality productions currently on the scene in the DFW market; however, we hope that you will enjoy your visit to ZOMBIE MANOR and tell all of your Haunted House enthusiasts to come check us out.

Eerie Industries was created in 1999 by a very passionate and creative team that has grown over the past decade producing commercial dark attractions, corporate events, private parties and fundraisers. Our very own Dark Night Players have been featured performers in film, on television and at dark attractions and tradeshows across the country.

Once you step inside our doors you will be taken to another place in time. Our highly detailed sets and professional theatrical performers will create a lasting impression...this is not your typical spook house. You've been forewarned...

Haunting regards,
Digger

Oh you haven't heard, huh ? well I tell ya' the story as we go, ain't got time to be sittin' in one spot growin' roots, especially with night comin' on.

The Ol' Man shut the Factory down in 1999 and nothin' but strange things been happen since, I tell ya'. Oh the accident - well you might best not be diggin' that up right yet - let us get inside first. Won't want anyone hearin' me tells ya' what really happin' dat night.

THE DEAD WALK AMONG US . . .

The Dead walk among us. Zombies, ghouls - no matter what their label - these somnambulists are the greatest threat to humanity itself. To call them predators and us prey would be innacurate. They are a plague, and the human race their host.

The lucky victims are devoured, their bones scraped clean, their flesh consumed. Those not so fortunate join the ranks of their attackers, transformed into putrid, carnivorous monsters.

Received the Certificate of Occupancy !

Just wanted to let everyone know that Eerie Industries has just received the C.O. for this year's new location...we'll let you all in on our little project in the very near future.

For now, here's a teaser of what is forthcoming...

He comes from the grave, his body a home of worms and filth. No life in his eyes, no warmth of his skin, no beating of his breast. His soul, as empty and dark as the night sky. He laughs at the blade, spits at the arrow, for they will not harm his flesh. For eternity, he will walk the earth, smelling the sweet blood of the living, feasting upon the bones of the damned. Beware, for he is the living dead.

News From Dean

I received this email today from our fearless(and down right dashing) leader Dean Jarnig.

Good afternoon all, just wanted to give you an update that we've applied for our C.O. I'll continue to keep you posted on our progress.

Have a great day!
DJ

The C.O.(Certificate of Occupancy) is required by the city to occupy any commercial building. It must be signed off on by the city and the fire dept.

Once granted, we will be able to "occupy" our haunt, and hopefully your nightmares.
We have chosen a name for our haunt and will unveil said name in the near future.

Greg

Got the Go Ahead

Good news! Dean made all required changes and resubmitted them to the powers that be and......

We received the go ahead from the city/fire dept and our future landlord!
(This is very good news, as we are dying to scare the crap out of people.)

These steps are all part of the process of starting a haunted attraction from scratch. Different cities may need different steps and if you are outside city limits, it seems to be much more of a free for all. However, with a great location comes great responsiblity.(or something like that)

Untill next time.....

Update with City

Dean met with the city on Friday and was refered to the fire dept. He met with them at 3:00. All went well.

They did make some suggestions.
- exits need to be every 75ft.
- no more than two doors between exits.
- memorize the fire code!
- etc.

Dean is revamping the floor plan to meet all the requirements and we will re submit them.
In the mean time. Dean and I are planning a trip to Houston to Hauntcon'08. If all goes well we will be lecturing on monster mouths or creature teeth custom fitted dentures.

If anyone is interested in joining us, please leave a comment.
Hauntingly, Greg
